big tex

our first trip to the biggest state fair in all the land and it did not disappoint. we rode rides, stuffed our faces with yummy friedness and marveled in its wonders. we began at the corny dog booth (but we weren't the only ones there, oprah and her posse joined us.) i got to have three of my favorites and rob loved his fried butter. i want to go back and only eat the free samples (we went through the free quesadilla line twice and almost a third.) it decided to rain at the end of our adventure so we ducked inside and sat through some pig races. fascinating. my tummy will have to get back to normal, but it was all worth it. until next time...
