i left for school with a couple of inches on the ground and prepared for the hour drive that it would be. there's something so magical about snow and the peace that comes with it. i snuck my kiddos outside for 5 minutes of frolicking. i look up and see snow being stuffed into mouths and flying through the hair. it made the day. we ended up having an early dismissal and a school cancelation for the next. yippee! 9 inches in texas just doesn't happen. rob made me some hot coco and we watched in amazement. this is where i feel at home. a place where i can do the most worship.
it was almost midnight when we decided to put on our winters and go for a romp. parkwood needed some footprints and maybe an angel or two. we could have fallen asleep out there, letting the flakes blanket us. i must have been dreaming.

I must say, that I am not jealous. We have only had a couple day's of snow...I think. I really only remember one. So I think just the one. Anyways, I am glad you like it so much!!
Happy Snow Day.
