i love saturday.
we haven't gotten a call in the middle of the night in awhile. it's not bad tending to the elderly when they're in need.
i was coming off the elevator with an arms load of camping gear the other week, when i saw a lost lady. the bus had dropped her off at the wrong building and she wasn't sure where she was supposed to be. it's usually rob to the rescue. with my blankets (remember we took 6) dragging on the ground by now (because i like to try and take the least many trips back and forth as possible) i actually got to help someone by myself.
i also got stopped one more time on the way to ponce, my blankets still dragging because i don't take the time to regroup, just keep going. he was looking for valerie. i didn't know who the heck valerie was. no help this time.
i just heard that a new prospect might be joining our lot. 'oh man' is all i can think. it's not just a hobby anymore.
i could go for some sixlets right about now.
my mom is coming in 1 1/2 weeks. she is going on the zoo field trip with us. i can't wait for her to meet my kids. especially my junie b. jones.
although i'm ready for baseball and summer lounging, i'm so not ready for the sun and the heat waves it brings. i hate the impossibility to live without ac here.
we get to enjoy an array of buffets tonight. free food.
