we found out right before Easter and since we were headed to wichita for the weekend we had to tell my family.

we came up with our own

"today's specials"

grandpa and grandma's special surprise

and

introducing first time aunt and uncle

rob called ahead to the restaurant and asked if we could surprise our family and put something in the menu.

my mom opened the menu, pulled out the specials and read "baby sirloin, i don't want baby sirloin." and she shoved it under the menu!

tj almost did the same thing. "if it's not good enough to be on the menu, it's not good."

my dad and tiffany were the only ones who actually read it and had to give light to their spouses.

rob and i had so much fun and laughed so hard. they couldn't have been more surprised or excited.
