hot child in the city

this last weekend was the first weekend rob and i have had alone all summer. we were planning on resting and laying low since i have been running a low grade fever for the past week. but i don't think he knows how to do that. one of the highlights was the franconia brewery. it is only one of two breweries in the dfw area and freaking awesome. i had no idea it was all straight from germany. although it was an awesome place, i highly recommend not going when you're 24 weeks pregnant. it was so hot, i was solid sweat, 108 degrees out and i almost passed out. i think i was the only one still sweating in the freezer! on the plus side it only cost 5 bucks and you got all the beer you wanted to drink. i think it's so funny that almost everyone makes the assumption that pregnant women cannot drink. who says? ya, if you're an alcoholic. {please become educated and informed.} my favorite was when someone would say "too bad you can't have any" that's my cue to take a sip and smile.

just so you know. our sweet girl is going to be the best dressed babe this winter. the f.o.b. sisters and momma sent us a huge package full of the cutest stuff ever. i can't help but wonder what she's going to look like. i hope she has his little ears, big eyes and full lips.

he surprised me today and brought me lunch. that means he left work taking his break to drive all the way to me. it was the bestest.

more power to ya, I hate the look that ignorant waiters and "none-of-their-dang-business-strangers" gave a certain pregnant momma I just so happen to be very well acquainted with when she ordered a glass of wine. That was a terrible sentence, but I'm not going to go back and rewrite it.
