after almost two months, we are finally starting to settle in here. it's small and sometimes cramped, but it works and i think she knows its her home. everyday i learn something new or have a great realization. why no one tells you these things beats me??

here are some of those things. (granted, i only have an eight week old)

you are able to see the love God has for us

even though you don't feel it, you are able to function without rest

but it's hard

an exercise ball. needed

their dirty laundry adds up faster than you can keep cleaned

the sound of a baby's toot = an adult's

at some points, you want to sell your child or ship them to nana's

their scream is louder than any possible human noise

your love for them is so indescribable

more tears will come out of you than you ever knew

your body does not feel your own

and problems can still arrive after birth

they do not like to have their diaper changed

what did you do all day

what you thought before can go right out the window

you can feel at a loss

your heart aches for them

they change everyday

learn to type one-handed

if it works today, doesn't mean it will work tomorrow

dads are the best diaper changers

you are their source of comfort

they may never sleep

you want to eat everything in sight

where's the happiness

your own chubbies will still be there

forget getting anything done

how can you do this alone

draw close to the Lord
