all is calm, all is bright

friday's leftovers {a day early}:

my sister is here and she's headed to nebraska with us to celebrate the birth of our Lord.

did you know that our Christmas cards only cost me 10 cents a card? ask me why i didn't order more than i did. ugh.

we have received two surprise blessings in the mail this year. very humbled by the love and support during this crazy time in our life.

He has so much in store for our little family and i have to trust Him.

total to date: 16 pounds gone. booya.

her little stocking is hung with care right in between ours. i was afraid i wouldn't find another wee one that matched ours so i bought a second one for sometime in the future. {of course not anytime soon, just planning ahead}

i'm waiting on the maintenance man again. our ice maker this time.

hark! the herald angels sing is my favorite song this time of year.

grammy, please know we have really been missing you.

i have started attending a breastfeeding support group. la leche league.

my giant hates our wreath on the door and believes it's very unsafe that we cannot see out of the peephole. he has a point. and i don't really want to die because i couldn't see my killer standing outside my door.

i really wanted to make these for gifts this year.

the snow has blanketed the earth here and i love seeing the white mountain tops.

rejoice in celebration. not because it's Christmas, but because God gave us the greatest gift of all, Jesus Christ.
Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace.

Merry Christmas
