friday's leftovers:

sunday is pipi's 1st birthday. and i'm not sure how i feel about it. she has grown so much and we adore her so.

because of her love of sesame street, it has inspired her birthday theme.

all our pictures are hung. and curtains are up. this is becoming our home.

she sits and stares in awe of our tiny christmas tree.

for the first time in our five years of marriage, we have cable. i don't want to get hooked.

imogen had her first taste of goats milk this week. i'm starting to get her used to it. it's not the same as mommy's milk, but we chose goats because it is the most like human milk.

the high's are in the 20(s) and there's snow on the ground. it makes my heart happy.

happy birthday to my sweet niece claire! she turns 12 today!

i think she is trying to transition into only one nap. ugh. let's hope not. i feel like she just got the hang of this sleeping thing.

i'm 11 pounds down. i can't believe it myself. but it sure feels good.

it seems almost everyone here owns a dog. i still can't picture having one while in an apartment.

it drives me nuts when people on fb post that they've had the worst day ever. every.single.day.

i have acquired a taste for coffee. i can't believe i'm saying this, but i actually like it.
