it was the first year for just us on the 4th and we kinda didn't know what to do. so we started off the day celebrating with independence day doughnuts (thanks for the idea emily), an all american lunch and a freedom festival for the evening.
i swear our neighbors upstairs throw furniture.
imogen has a great habit of bringing us things she finds on the floor (paper, string, old food) but yesterday she handed me something real special and i realized it was moving in between my fingers. my little girl caught a spider and now i was holding it. i didn't handle it very well.
no fireworks for a lot of this state due to the fire ban and it doesn't feel like the 4th.
i surprised my greasy monkey twice this week with smoothies and imy still cries when we have to say goodbye to daddy.
she cannot stop asking what everything is. so very curious.
our besties were in town last weekend and i only took a few photos.
the farmers market on sunday
how cute is evelyn?
and a coors brewery tour
pipi, my baby bump and i are headed to a cousin's wedding and hopefully some delicious cake eating this weekend.
happy birthday america!

I was wondering if you guys would get to see fireworks this year. It wouldn't feel like Fourth of July to me, either, without them... I keep thinking back to July 4, 2008, and it is one of my favorite memories ever.
I think we need a side baby bump pic on your next blog post:)
