leftover friday

we fell in love with a house last weekend, but the sellers accepted an offer on it and we are pretty bummed.

just when i think i get rid of the ants in our apartment. they make their way back.

a nana and papa had our pipi girl for a few days this week. while she was livin' it up there, my giant and i saw a movie at the dollar theater and went on a date that included the best pot roast i have ever had and another that included a milkshake.

during one hot afternoon this week i went out to the freezer on our porch to grab an icy treat, a sorbet and to my dismay they were not in there. i went back inside and checked the freezer in the kitchen and then back out to the porch. nope they were gone. the coconut and pineapple were already eaten this summer, so i knew i had pomegranate, mango and orange left. and i think someone stole them. my giant says to not make up stories, but i don't think i'm making this up.

we have been waiting for a very important letter, but it never came.

if you haven't heard, we decided to find out and yes we are having a girl.

as of a few months ago, our bed is no longer on the floor.

a sweet surprise package arrived in the mail yesterday for baby girl and a one for my big girl :)

today is our sweet cousin sophia's 1 year birthday! happy happy sweet girl.

there is a harvest parade and festival in our little downtown, small group, church and a relaxing two days ahead.
