friday leftovers

we have big news people.  we bought a house.
i found it online while i was in nebraska and my mom and sis were running errands.  they got back into the car and i quote said, "i found the house."  16 contracts were put on this house and over two dozen showings.  it was down to us and one other contract and we both had the exact same offer.  ultimately, i know it was God, but i had written a letter to the seller to put us apart.  when i found this house online, i noticed that they had written a letter why they loved their house, and because we had put offers in on 4 other houses and i knew this was the one for us, i wrote them a letter why our family wants to buy your house. sometimes i forget that i still haven't seen the house because i've looked at the pictures so much that it feels like i have.
so another stanton crazy to put in the books.  rob bought a house without me.

the day we got home from our detour in colorado {which by the way does anyone else know anyone who would drive 5 hours out of the way and fly their hubby up to see friends? just curious} i decided it was time to take the plunge and finally start potty training.
going good so far, but boy is it hard work.

was anyone else disappointed with the final episode of the office.  i have been a loyal fan from the beginning {all thanks goes to my sis} but my heart was not tugged at all.  rob thinks i may have had too high of expectations.

imogen absolutely loved spending time with her bestie in denver.  and i realized we have had best friends every place we have lived.

we received a scary call last night that my giants grandpa was admitted to the hospital and almost lost him.  he's my grandpa too.

my pipi girl has stated that she will not go peepee or poopies in her panties anymore. ever. ever.
and what did i tell her she gets to do if she if it's true.  dance class baby.

maybe one of these nights i will get to go on a date with my greasy monkey.  but tonight he has mechanic tests, tomorrow we will see family and a festival with friends and prayers for a grandpa.
