Friday leftovers

We move into a home in exactly one month! I can't tell you how excited pipi gets when we drive by it. "Did you see it, did you see it? That's pipi's house!"

I don't think people quite get what it took for us to move. From the mountains to the 100 year old house to the lone star state. We are talking $20,000.00 in the hole. Not to mention the emotional ride it was on us. But God is bigger than all of that and we will follow where He leads. 

We now are the owners of the cheapest, nicest frig I found on Craigslist. Plus these people are moving to Denver and felt we needed to have it. 

Lots of swimming has been happening over here at aunt Cathy's. summer is under way. 

I bought my first pair of shorts {not talking about workout shorts} in a very very long time. 

We are getting there with the potty training. It's hard work. We have good days and not so good days. "Tell mommy when you need to go potty" is what I say close to a thousand times a day. 

Every time I put my Mira down to sleep {on her tummy} she pops her head up and watches me leave. Just like a little turtle. A ninja turtle to be exact. Melts my heart. 

My aunt and uncle are babysitting tonight and my giant and I are doing dinner + movie. I'm giddy. A happy daddy's day early. 

The greasy monkey is workin and we are headed to a bring your own meat BBQ after church to celebrate Father's Day.
