Friday leftovers

I made so many meatballs last night, I could have fed my whole family. Living with my aunt and uncle is like feeding a small army. They have five grown boys and you never know which ones are going to be home and if they will come with friends. So doubling or tripling your recipe is a must.

Someone stood for the first time. I caught her looking into the toy box on Monday.

My pipi girl had a teetee accident in her panties and when I sat her on the potty to see if she had anymore to get out, I hear "mommy, are you mad at me?" from the bathroom. Broke my heart.

If you haven't checked out Lord Huron by now, you should.

Two nights in a row we rented a movie, put the girls down, invited my cousins and popped open a yellow belly.

We hosted our first BBQ + swim party - the fact that it wasn't at our house, but that time will come.

If you see me at the store, yes i'm the one with the constant sweaty upper lip, the hungry baby and the little toddler with the 25 minute potty breaks.  This is my life.

He has called us here. To live differently, think differently and love differently. Dfw is definitely not the place we thought we would be, but He knew. Here's to accepting a call, higher than ourselves and being different all in His glory.

Dinner with friends, a working greasy monkey, swim time, church, a lawn mower hunt, overcoming thrush and hoping little miss imy fills another row on her poopy chart.

happy weekend!
