it was a long winter of sickness.
there were a couple of salesmen who came to our door and i didn't answer. i told the homegirls not to too. this was most confusing to them and a lesson of not answering the door to strangers was had.
"i bet they are bad guys." -mira
"are they rodgers that will come and take all our stuff?" -imogen
"because i know all the rodgers and they won't get us." -imogen
"are bad guys rodgers?" -mira
mirabelle has hit the 3 year old attitude stage. it's the absolute worst stage of life yet. i am very thankful that she is nowhere near imogen's level {and praying she doesn't ever get there}.
we were graciously given a family pass to the dallas zoo and we were finally healthy enough to go this week. since i moved to texas everyone always told me the fort worth zoo was a lot better, but we loved this one too! there are so many interactive shows, and things to do with the animals. we had so much fun. here are a few highlights:
we got to feed the giraffes!
the bird show was great and i don't even like birds.
there are koala bears.
we saw our first baby joey in a pouch.
my cousin and her kiddos were great tour guides.
no one cares my daughter is roaring, because we are at a zoo {hello}.
picnic lunch.
we will be back very soon.
best imy quote this week:
"This giraffe eats so healthy. good for him."
best mirabelle quote this week:
"i am tired because i'm wearing this shirt."
i am very grateful for our homegroup ladies and i get to see them tonight. a working greasy monkey, a birthday party tomorrow, church and family pics on sunday.
happy weekend.
