belated birthday wishes

our mira love turned one december 16 and it just doesn't seem possible.  this year went by the fastest yet. and she still seems so much a baby, but trying to grow up just as much too.
mirabelle, you say "hi" to anybody and everybody and love to pretend to talk on the phone, using just about any object you can find.  you know exactly what you want and shake your head yes or no when asked a question.  you take about five steps and try so hard.  you love to beg food off of everyone and we usually have to cut you off because you love food so much.  a newcomer still has to work for your smiles but you give them freely to us.  you only weigh 17 pounds but your heart is so big.
the dance party was a hit and you loved every minute of it. we celebrated your actual day of birth by shopping with nana, going to the Christmas parade of lights and eating at in n out burger!
