lost your face in the crowd: leftover friday {a day late}

my poor mira love caught the flu this week. not the stomach one, but the other. and with pipi's cold, both girls were in my lap most of yesterday.

how did you ring in the new year? we were invited over to friend's and even got to meet new friends.
we slept in late {if you consider that late} and ate a fine breakfast that included aretha frankenstein's pancakes.

i am in last place in my family's bowl poll. and i started in first.

i am having trouble eating Mexican food.

my giant bought me a new purse and wallet. at the thrift store.

imogen wants to play dress up {every day, all day}

what's on my short term list of goals for the new year?
put the Christmas decorations away
take down Christmas lights
organize the girl's closets
cut out sugar {again}
put a stop to the prowling cats who come by
get mira to sleep through the night indefinitely
find a descent grill and use it
eat more protein
find a spot for every toy
teach imogen to make her bed
dive more into the word
play outside when we can
ask for a break every now and then
get my nose pierced
somehow find my giant more time in the day

we are catching up after being stuck in the house all week while my greasy monkey works, selling a hitch, going to church and who knows, i just might ask to go to target by myself.
