juniper sings the same song all day long and it goes like this

needless to say the title is {daddy's shoes}
it's everyone's favorite song.

the flu bug came into our house and has only hit mira and myself.

i taught imogen to play war, slap jack, old maid and go fish yesterday.

mirabelle snores as loud as her daddy.

our espresso machine took a crap weeks ago and i miss it every day.

we have the sweetest neighbors who came bearing gifts for us.

i am cooking so much more now that i am fully recovered. {i don't really know what we lived off of before.}

i really am so very thankful we have a master bathroom, but our shower only comes out a trickle and man does that make it hard to shave.

my giant and i are craving a movie date.

what are your thoughts on a closet overhaul? i'm thinking why have anything more than the 5 t-shirts, 2 pairs of jeans, 3 skirts, 3 sweatshirts and 2 tanks i always choose to wear.
oh, and of course yoga pants :)
this stage in my life, i need nothing more.

in between trips to the bathroom and taking care of three little homegirls during the flu bug, i watched season 6 of parenthood. tears came in every single episode. dang it parenthood.

on the schedule for this weekend: cleaning the aftermath of a house where a mommy was sick and daddy worked really late, my giant working on sassy fu fu's car, church and i just might call a babysitter {that is, if no one else gets sick}
