leftovers

i made my first trip to the dairy farm this week. our frig is now stalked with raw milk, cheese, fresh eggs and local beef.
why haven't i discovered this gem until now?
benefits of raw milk:
Loaded with healthy bacteria that are good for your gastrointestinal tractHigh in omega-3 and low omega-6, which is the beneficial ratio between these two essential fats
Full of more than 60 digestive enzymes, growth factors, and immunoglobulins (antibodies). These enzymes are destroyed during pasteurization, making pasteurized milk much harder to digestLoaded with vitamins (A, B, C, D, E, and K) in highly bioavailable forms, and a very balanced blend of minerals (calcium, magnesium, phosphorus, and iron) whose absorption is enhanced by live Lactobacilli
Rich in conjugated linoleic acid (CLA), which fights cancer and boosts metabolismRich in healthy unoxidized cholesterol
Rich in beneficial raw fats, amino acids, and proteins in a highly bioavailable form, all 100 percent digestibleIt also contains phosphatase, an enzyme that aids and assists in the absorption of calcium in your bones, and lipase enzyme, which helps to hydrolyze and absorb fats
{Pasteurizing milk, on the other hand, destroys enzymes, diminishes vitamins, denatures fragile milk proteins, destroys vitamin B12 and vitamin B6, kills beneficial bacteria, and actually promotes pathogens.}
but don't get me wrong, i still highly believe that plant milk is the best kind of milk for you.
ok, i'm off the milk box now.

my poor junobird had been sick all week and just when i thought she was getting better she spiked a 104 fever.

i booked a $41 ticket for my giant. we so miss our colorado friends and he's going to help me drive there and fly home {while i go head to nana and papa's}.

anyone want to come and finish {and by finish, i mean actually start} painting my trim, fix the wall and touch up paint all in my family room?

tonight is my first to volunteer in the two year old room at the church nursery.
kinda excited to pray over and play with some crazies ;)

laundry still isn't done for the week, but forts have been made and card games are being played.

happy weekend.
