we hit the ground hard when we were in denver and i think we may have pushed ourselves a little too much. us crazy stanton's never say that, but rob caught what the girls had before we left. he was down (down) for over 4 days, i caught some sort of stomach bug when i got home and then i caught what rob had, as well as imogen {again!}
i called the girls school to let them know they would not be going in today and they said
"I'm so sorry this sickness is hitting you again (the girls were down with fevers and sickness for 5 days two weeks ago) do you have anyone close who can help you out?"
"umm, no, we actually don't have anyone close to help out." but thanks for the reminder and making my eyes tear up yet once again because i sure wish we did.
we can't seem to shake sickness this winter, but am so grateful my giant works so hard that i can be home to take care of these sickie homegirls. so very grateful.
i have lost count of how many times i have cleaned bedding, towels and bathrooms.
this is all only to push us closer to Him.
and possibly to rewatch every children's movie we own +sophia the first +pjmasks
in colorado
we got to wear hats and see snow.
we got to see our besties and meet jenny!
in nebraska
we got to celebrate nana's birthday with her.
we got to meet a dear friend's sweet new baby girl.
we got to play in the sunshine and rest.
because of the storms that hit while i was away, our yard is full of pine cones, pieces of pine cones and branches. what do you think? i want to pay the girls a nickel for every pine cone they pick up. {when we're all well of course} also there are huge, giant weeds coming out of all places.
happy weekend project
