leftover friday

it's been a rough week with my oldest. imogen has a will so strong and a heart that is still learning.

i am just about to lose my mind.
the homegirls closets are cleaned out and ready for summer.
mira is loving wearing some piggy tails now. it's about time my little hair dresser let me do her hair.
we witnessed a car accident with a motorcyclist. he was not wearing a helmet. it was devastating and we were all in tears and prayed right then and there.
my little fraidy cats started swimming lessons. yes, i taught swimming lessons for 6 years, but they have the hardest time listening to mommy. they started out a little rough, but now they wish lessons were every night.
"It’s the broken hearts that find the haunting loveliness of a new beat — it’s the broken hearts that make a song that echoes God’s.
Grief is the guaranteed price we pay for love.
If you hold the past too tightly, your arms have no room for the present — no room for the gifts of now." -ann voskamp

grammy so generously offered to take my two littlest for TWO {whole} nights so we can spend some one on one time with our imy.

tickets to see the jungle book are purchased, getting our nails painted, a lunch date, church, and finally, our local theater is putting on the wizard of oz {she will shout with joy}.
happy happy weekend.
