friday friday

acting camp was a hit this week. she had all the songs learned by the first day and her lines by the second day. imogen scored the role as the 2nd little piggy. she got to build her house of sticks and was the only girl in a leading role. her confidence and strength are to be admired.

i think her little sissy's knew her lines and songs as well as she did.

homegirls best quotes this week:
mira- "i'm so tired i'm melting."
imy- "she's so hot she's melting down. help her."

who knows if it will happen any other week, but we have been doing learning time every day. imogen is reading more and more each day.

how its when you are really trying hard to watch what you eat that you crave things the most. man it's hard.

we got a knock on the door yesterday from an older woman looking for a sarah to take out. she looked at me and said "come on sarah, let's go, i'm taking you out. oh wait, you're not sarah. this is not her house." i felt bad. i couldn't help her, i didn't know where sarah lived.

you guys, i made this chart to help us this summer and the girls are to do everything on it and move their clips before they get any screen time. all the begging that once occurred has stopped and i can't tell you how much it has helped. plus my house doesn't look like a disaster every day.

i'm having an online lularoe party next week. i'm excited. it's such cute, fashionable and extremely comfy clothes and it's one of anthropology's former top designers leading the way. i don't buy much for myself, but this is a way to maybe get a little.

as rob was getting ready for work one morning he came in and woke me up and said he thinks imy had a party in the family room last night. all the {kid} chairs were moved and the colors and coloring books were all colored in. i got up to check it out and noticed right away that the coloring was not of imogen, but of our wee homegirl, juno. she was still asleep in her bed and rob noticed that she had pooped out of her diaper and all over her bed.
here's what i think happened: she pooped in the middle of the night, got up to tell us so she could be changed, but couldn't find us so she decided to stay up and color for a bit and then eventually put herself back to sleep. crazy girl.

last weekend we happened upon the local farmers market.
but it was kind of a bust and i don't think we'll be back.

my giant is working, i am volunteering at church and then we are celebrating this daddy of ours. but he deserves more than the celebration we can give him.

happy weekend.
