rob's brother and family came down to visit along with his sister and kiddos. it was so great to spend family time in our last days of summer.
i ended up volunteering to take jenn and kids back to NE (because she rode down with ryan and when one of his kids got throwing up sick, she decided to stay longer and not ride in a van with sickies) where she left her car when she came down from montana, so a last minute trip to the good life happened. and i popped over to nanaandpapa's house for a quick quick stay.
also, big news over here.
we decided to homeschool our homegirls.
actually we didn't decide, the Lord called us to and i am going to be faithful.
so imogen started kindergarten at classical conversations where she will go once a week and will homeschool the rest of the week. if you've never heard of classical conversations, you really should because it's greatness. they seek to make God known in all aspects of life and in all subject areas. ultimately shouldn't that be the basis and goal for all believers?

i sold my beloved dining room {table to make room for schooling in our house.} we saved and saved for that table, the one i found on craigslist when we lived in denver. but it just wasn't being used for what it should be and i am a big believer in not holding on to something that someone else could be using right now.
i am on the hunt for a perfect smaller table as our school room/playroom/dining room/toys everywhere room comes together.
oh how i wish i would have written down mira's quotes for the past few weeks. she has had so many good ones and i can't remember not even one of them!
we are off to a wedding, playing while daddy works, volunteering at the church nursery and hopefully working on someone's bike riding ability.
