leftovers

last weekend my giant took us on an adventure in a turn around to nebraska in two days. we hauled up a van he had fixed to his brother's company to be used to help foster families and then we hauled another van back down for him to replace the engine in.

and then my giant had to report to surgery by 5:30 the next morning.

nana came and grabbed the homegirls when we were in nebraska and while rob continues to recover.

his surgery went so well. he's rested a lot, but i don't think he realized how weak and tired he would feel.

its deadly quiet here without the homegirls. but i'm so very thankful for my momma, who is willing to keep them. i've got to catch up on cleaning, laundry, organizing, appointments, more appointments and making lots of granola bars.

we're taking it slow the next few days and enjoying the time just the two of us get to have.
