leftover friday

the homegirls and i voted on taking a hike this gorgeous day.

and bonus this is about 3 minutes from our house.

and we even discovered a 1850's homestead :)

our giant has been so sick the past couple of weeks {he doesn't have any time to take off} and he still chooses to love others. 

he took me to see our favorite band.

he has also been working hard on getting this van ready because we are giving it away to our dear friends' whose life is slipping away and needs it more. 

 saying goodbye to our white rabbit. God gave us this van and he'll give us another one.

we're called to not be attached to the things of this world, they are not ours.

here's our grateful board that i made. i've always wanted to do one and finally busted one out. the girl love doing it every day and bonus we practice our writing skills.

this weekend we are cheering on the huskers, getting our giant well and getting this house ready, because nana and papa are on their way down to spend the week with us.
