leftover friday

this life was given to us. it's way too fragile to not be grateful and think it's all about you and your desires. it has never been about us. it will never be about us.

a friend told me the other day that she would like to serve somewhere and asked me if i knew where. i wished i would have answered like this: service is not somewhere, it's everywhere.
it's stepping up, being uncomfortable.
it's giving when it hurts.
it's time to open our eyes and finally see it.
live differently because we are meant for so much more.

annual coffee shop run in our jammies

our niece claire was in town this week and she got to tag along on some of our adventures.

this past week, the girls had their showcase week at their creative arts studio.

can you see juno birdie alseep on my lap? look for the red pj's :)

december at the zoo= no one there

juno always makes best friends with the bubbies.

homegirl quotes:

mira- "juno, can we play giant saloon for toes?"

imogen- "without my helmet on i just keep forgiving everybody."

juno- "momma, you can kiss me. i have gluten free lips."

laundry, laundry, laundry and picking up the slack from only playing this week, maybe catching a double feature at the cute historic theater downtown while our giant works on a car to help foster families, looking at Christmas lights, enjoying good food and a family Christmas concert.
happy weekend.
