Christmas eve eve

i used to wrestle with the idea of santa clause when we were first married and if we would introduce him to our kids someday. but as our homegirls were born, the idea became so very clear. what a huge distraction santa is. he takes away everything that the gift of Christmas is.

we were going to take this week off of school and enjoy a break, but they woke up monday begging to do school so we did.

if you haven't seen the movie blue jay on netflix you should. i laughed out loud and shed some tears.

sometimes you just have to wake up and pay for some good breakfast. today was that day. mama's daughters diner. plus breakfast is pretty cheap.

i received the best kind of phone call this week. after a year long process with my bladder and the surgery i had, it will all now be reimbursed to us. this is good news because i know have to have another bladder repair and hysterectomy next month and it too will be completely covered. i can't tell you how much of a praise that is.
