imogen's baptism

ever since this little girl could talk, she spoke of our Lord and how she wanted to live for Him. i remember her crying in her room, praying to God to change her heart and asking forgiveness. she has been asking about baptism for the past couple of years as well as communion. a few weeks ago as we were worshiping in church i had a vision of imogen being baptized at the lake by our house and right after that, the worship band started playing her birth song. i knew it was confirmation that it was time.

rob and i had long talks with imogen about being baptized and she wanted us to read again the story of john the baptist and Jesus being baptized. she said she was ready to let every one know she wants to live for Jesus every day.

she wrote her "testimony" in her journal and away we went planning and preparing for this special day.

this moment in her life is so very huge and we want to thank everyone who made the effort to acknowledge it and who came out to celebrate with her. it meant so much to all of us.
