lost your face in the crowd: leftover friday

last week i got to watch our {carbon copies, that's what i've deemed them}

all the homegirls had so much fun.

but it was like having 3 sets of twins.

i love how they all choose to sit by each other to eat dinner :)

mira- "what is it called when you have breakfast and lunch together?"

imy- "lunchfast."

mira- "what is it called when you have lunch and dinner together?"

imy- "dunner or dunch. either one is good."

me- "how was riding your scooter?"

mira- "my teeth are all falling out and my fingers no longer work."

this summer, so far, we have listened to the books:

matilda

a wrinkle in time

charlotte's web

mary poppins

stuart little

the homegirls filled up their "team stanton" and we took the $ they earned and got them scooters from toys r us for 70% off {since they are going out of business}.

we love our bikes, but scooter tires and tubes don't constantly need attention and we can pack them in the car quite easily and bring them with us to a park or friends house.

on father's day:

To #mygiant who embraced pink before I ever did, would carry anyone’s scooter for them, gives away more than he makes and has a love so fierce that if you know it, only points back to our Lord. It’s been a joy watching him be a father to our crazy.

i've been planning with grammy for a few months on "rest time" with my giant and watching the girls for us.

i took him to fort worth.

we held hands and walked slow around sundance square and stopped for a steel city pop.

and enjoyed the night at the improve comedy club where rob got selected to be in the show again! this is the 3rd time he has been picked out of the audience and his second time on stage :)

we laughed our butts off and i wish i could post all the videos so you could too, but i was so caught off guard that he got chosen again, that i fumbled to film it on my phone and accidentally did it upside down 😛.

but trust me, it was amazing.
