leftover friday

you guys!! we've had so many close friends and family really step up by supporting us in giving our van to our dear friends. we could not have done it without everyone's help. so many people have just flat out made me bawl because of their generosity and giving heart. we absolutely knew that God was going to be faithful and make this happen. it by all means was not us.

i mean look how pretty this girl is, she's going to a great new home.

look who started their first day of our community day cc {classical conversations}
The day started with juno crying and refusing to let me do her hair, mira all of the sudden got super shy and wouldn’t give her presentation to her class and poked juno two times in the back during class, making her cry. and i couldn’t find imogen and two of her friends during recess. for like 15 min, the other two moms and i were looking everywhere! we finally found them behind a set of bushes aways away from the playground. 😳

but...we're going to have a better day next week!
here's to:
2nd / Kinder / Pre-K

the morning of their first day of cc we got the homegirls each a gift. a new pencil bag {of their respected favorite animal!}

juno also started her musical theater class at the studio two blocks from our house. she was so excited and woke up early that day and got herself all ready. too excited to even eat breakfast {although, i made her :)}
she is our singer, i mean they all like to sing, but she belts it and thought this would be a good fit for her while her sisters do dance.

i introduced our first try at elevenses {the art of stopping for tea/coffee and a snack around 11}
we had lemon&ginger tea
and practiced having good conversation :)
of course their favorite part was the cookies.

recess!

the big girls have been begging to make their first stitch for awhile now and i thought this was an appropriate start for mira, imogen started with a cross stitch.

we had our last night of volleyball this week.
they all improved and we might try it again next summer!

papa joel was here last weekend and got to enjoy some time with him.

juno also got to go on her very first daddy/daughter date.
she's been asking about this day for a long time and had so much fun.

and i realized i never showed you our fancy tea party that my friend's mom put on to celebrate my friend and her daughter's birthdays.

happy birthday kate and tessa!

my big girls probably tried on every dress in their closet before deciding which one was best for the tea party. juno said she wanted to look handsome and choose her dragon costume.

it was between batman and elliot (the dragon) and i'm glad she picked elliot.
because doesn't every tea party need a dragon?!?

the details put into this party were amazing. the decorations, the food, the box of gloves to choose from to wear, to dress up dresses, to jewelry and hat making and the tea with all the different beautiful tea sets!
my girls loved every minute.

my giant is helping his brother move and then off to work.
we have a back to school party for our creative arts studio.

happy weekend!
and
i can't forget some quotes!

mira- "did you know that my very favorite smell is gas."
juno- "ewww."
mira- "not that kind of gas, GASOLINE."

mira- "that lady has a lot of groceries. she must be hungry."
we were at hobby lobby😳
